When the original course made way for the Cape Town Stadium ahead of the 2010 World Cup, architect Mark Muller was given a blank canvas alongside the new Green Point Urban Park. The result is a modern layout that links into the natural biodiversity.
Wide, forgiving fairways and large greens make the Met accessible to amateurs, while subtle contouring and the ever-present coastal wind give the better players plenty to think about.
